Dr. Zeigler has completed a Chemistry B.A. at the University of South Florida, followed by a
Doctorate in Optometry at NSU College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He
completed internships at Liane Downtown Eye Associates, Macdill Air Force Base, and at
NSU College of Optometry. After earning his Doctorate in Optometry, Dr. Zeigler extended his
training by completing a one year residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease. As a Certified
Optometrist, Dr. Zeigler is in private practice at Zeigler Family Eye Care, Davie, Florida. He is
also an active member of the U.S. Air Force Reserve to serve as Chief of Primary Eye Care
Services at Homestead Air Reserve Base in south Florida. Dr. Zeigler's scope of practice
includes comprehensive eye examination in primary care optometry, hard to fit soft or rigid
gas permeable contact lenses, diagnosis, management, and treatment of eye disease, and
optical fabrication and dispensing.
